The project seeks to empower young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, including people living in rural communities and persons with disabilities, to exercise their right to vote in the 2024 EU elections.
This proposal offers tools and methodology for learning about the electoral process, and being more familiar with the basis of democracy, mechanisms of EU institutions, EU policies, European identity, citizenship and values, such as a board game, awareness campaign and local activities.
- to rise the percentage of young people voting in the 2024 EU elections in the 3 partner countries,
- the creation of a board game, local activities and awareness campaigns will help young people to learn about the EU
institutions and the election process in European countries and know better how to make their voices heard. - 12 youth workers and 12 young leaders will participate in 2 LTTAs and will share experiences and design the best
practices for reaching out to the target group.
