Aim

The primary objective of the SCIBORG project is to enhance the civic science literacy of young people and youth workers through the development and implementation of an innovative board game. SCIBORG encompasses co-creation, accessibility, engagement, and inclusivity to empower young people with the skills and knowledge needed to better understand the complex field of science and contribute effectively to civic discussions on current topics like climate change.

Results:

  1. An innovative educational board game that makes science engaging and accessible for young people that is available in several languages and formats (online and via print & play).
  2. An enhanced understanding of scientific literacy among the participants of the live-tests (12 youth and youth educators) and multiplier events (at least 30 people per country)
  3. Widespread knowledge of the board game in each country through each partner’s networks.
