AthensCon 2022: Dracon Rules Design Studio’s Highlights
In November 2022, Dracon Rules Design Studio had the honor of presenting at AthensCon, one of Greece’s most prominent conventions for innovation and creativity. The event provided an exciting platform for Dracon to share its insights and contributions to educational game design, highlighting its work on the Competences4ESD project, among others.
As part of the workshop titled “Game Design: From Theory to Practice,” Dracon showcased its expertise in crafting serious games that blend entertainment with educational value. The presentation emphasized the role of games in promoting sustainability education and fostering key competences aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Dracon also introduced attendees to the methodologies behind the design and application of its educational tools, engaging the audience in thoughtful discussions about the intersection of gaming and learning.
The workshop brought together a diverse audience, including educators, game developers, students, and professionals from various industries. It was an excellent opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring future collaborations. Dracon highlighted its involvement in multiple Erasmus+ projects, such as Competences4ESD, I-Game, and YANG C.C., inviting participants to follow their progress and join the conversation around education for sustainable development.
