We are thrilled to announce the approval of our Erasmus+ project, Speak It Up: Youth Public Speaking Skills Development Towards a Democratic Society in Contemporary Europe! 🌍 This initiative, funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU framework, is set to make a significant impact on youth empowerment and active citizenship across Europe.
About the Project
The Speak It Up project focuses on equipping young people with the skills and confidence to participate in democratic processes through the art of public speaking. It aims to bridge gaps in communication and engagement, fostering inclusivity and active participation among youth.
With partners from seven countries - Sweden, Poland, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Cyprus - this collaborative effort will develop innovative tools, resources, and training methodologies to enhance public speaking skills. The project also seeks to address challenges in communication, encouraging young people to engage actively in their communities and democratic life.
What to Expect The project will deliver several impactful outcomes:
- A Research-Based Curriculum tailored to youth educators and trainers.
- An e-Handbook providing methodologies and training materials.
- A Digital Application offering interactive tools for speechwriting and delivery.
- A Board Game designed to make learning public speaking fun and interactive.
