About the Project

The Speak It Up project focuses on equipping young people with the skills and confidence to participate in democratic processes through the art of public speaking. It aims to bridge gaps in communication and engagement, fostering inclusivity and active participation among youth.

With partners from seven countries - Sweden, Poland, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Cyprus - this collaborative effort will develop innovative tools, resources, and training methodologies to enhance public speaking skills. The project also seeks to address challenges in communication, encouraging young people to engage actively in their communities and democratic life.

What to Expect The project will deliver several impactful outcomes:

  • A Research-Based Curriculum tailored to youth educators and trainers.
  • An e-Handbook providing methodologies and training materials.
  • A Digital Application offering interactive tools for speechwriting and delivery.
  • A Board Game designed to make learning public speaking fun and interactive.

Collaborative Effort

The Speak It Up project brings together experienced partners from various fields to create a comprehensive set of resources. By combining diverse perspectives and expertise, the project ensures relevance and adaptability for different cultural and educational contexts.

Why It Matters

Public speaking is not just a skill -it’s a gateway to empowerment, self-expression, and active citizenship. By participating in this project, young people will gain the tools to voice their opinions, engage in meaningful discussions, and contribute to democratic processes.

Stay tuned as we embark on this exciting journey to inspire and empower youth across Europe! 🚀
