About the project
GreenChef is designed to equip secondary VET schools, teachers, and students with the tools to integrate sustainability into culinary practices. By combining education and gameplay, the project brings environmental consciousness into kitchens. With a strong emphasis on plant-based diets and low-carbon food preparation, GreenChef strives to bridge the gap between traditional culinary education and sustainable practices.
Background
The GreenChef project is an Erasmus+ initiative focusing on environmental sustainability and culinary education. In collaboration with Hungary, Greece, and Bulgaria, the project addresses the need for interdisciplinary environmental education within the culinary sector. It aims to raise awareness of sustainable food practices and climate change while fostering innovation through gamified learning tools.
Objectives
The project aims to make a real difference in the lives of migrant women by addressing the social, cultural, and psychological factors that contribute to their well-being. Through interactive, innovative, and inclusive approaches, the project strives to empower women, promote social inclusion, and foster a sense of belonging within their new communities. This is not just a project but a commitment to improving these womenβs lives and positively impacting European society.
