Final Meeting in Wadowice, Poland

The "SpeakItUp" Erasmus+ project held its final meeting on September 9-10, 2024, in the picturesque town of Wadowice, Poland. This pivotal gathering served as a reflection on the project's journey, highlighting the collective achievements, challenges faced, and the future prospects for the tools and insights developed.

About the project

"SpeakItUp" set out to empower young people by enhancing their public speaking skills and encouraging active citizenship. Through the creation of innovative tools like the "SpeakItUp" board game and tailored educational resources, the project has left a lasting impact on youth education. These tools are designed to be engaging, accessible, and adaptable to various learning environments, making them invaluable for educators and trainers.

The project also emphasized collaboration and inclusion, bringing together diverse partners and stakeholders to share ideas and develop resources that address the needs of young people in Europe. The feedback gathered during piloting events confirmed the effectiveness of the tools and their ability to foster communication, creativity, and confidence among participants.

As the project concludes, the focus shifts to sustaining its legacy. The materials developed will continue to be used in educational settings, inspiring a new generation of learners and educators. The success of "SpeakItUp" lies not only in its tangible outcomes but also in the connections it has fostered and the knowledge it has shared.

With this final meeting, "SpeakItUp" closes a chapter while opening new doors for innovative approaches to youth education and active citizenship.
